1. Kenyir Water Park
This is one of Terengganu’s newest tourist attractions. Located on Puala Poh (Poh Island), Kenyir Water Park just opened its doors for business on June 1, in conjunction with Festival Kenyir 2015.
2. water games strictly for adults only
There was an opening promotion on admission tickets but the prices are now back to normal: RM25 per adult and RM15 per child.
3. paddle pool for kids
Kenyir Water Park is so new, its development is only in its first phase. What’s currently available are the Ninja Warrior water games strictly for adults only (as the depth is as much as 150 metres), and the kids section with a paddle pool and splash pool. There are plenty of gazebos available for families to laze around too.

In due time, Kenyir Water Park will see the development of its second and third phases, which include a 4-lane 500-metre long bridge at the cost of RM270 million, a jetty, eight resorts and a hotel.
5. souvenir booth
To go to Kenyir Water Park, first head to Lake Kenyir‘s Pengkalan Gawi Jetty and then take a boat to cross over. The park is open from 10am until 6pm daily, but activities may be temporarily suspended in the event of poor weather conditions.
It is closed from 12.30pm to 2.30pm every Friday for prayer break (solat Jumaat). I was also informed that the adult section of the park will be closed during the month of Ramadhan. Therefore, plan your visit well.
