Said to be the “best” homestay in the state of Terengganu, I have visited twice before, although have yet to a spend night there.
Recently, I made yet another stop and was given a demonstration of the things that guests can do or learn there.
The highlight of this trip was the Rambo Cruise, although I cannot tell the difference between this boat cruise and the Terengganu River Cruise. The sights looked the same – the dissimilarities probably lie in the operation of the two businesses.
I don’t deny that homestay programmes are not my cup of tea. I don’t mind visiting, though, and this was where I learned about traditional snacks such as keropok lekor cicah colek (KLCC), lempeng nyior & tepung bunga.
Guests would also be able to view demonstrations of community art and craft such as batik painting.
For more information, you can check out the official website of Teluk Ketapang Homestay or read up on my previous visit to the village.
