My friends and I, unfortunately, did not have the time to dip ourselves in the cool stream as the main reason we were there was to attend a lecture on herbs by Dr. Mohd. Noor Shamsuddin, the owner of the camp.

Our lecturer is a no-nonsense man who treated us like school children; shouting at us and banging at the table to get our attention.

And I am glad for that as otherwise, I wouldn’t have learnt so much about the plants that are all around us and their usefulness.

I wished that we had spent a longer morning there at Kem Herba as there is just so much to learn! I highly recommend schools to make field trips to Kem Herba for students during school holidays.
