Officially opened on 15th October, 2016, The Shore Toy Museum is home to more that 10,000 popular toys, offering visitors an opportunity to be up-close with life-size toy displays, from popular comics characters to superheroes and rare miniature toys.
The Shore Toy Museum, which was established at a cost of RM3 million, is now one of Melaka’s prime tourist attractions.
Not only do children love visiting, with the many toys being exhibited, their parents would also enjoy browsing through the shelves as they are transported back in time to their childhood days. I know I was, especially with the uncountable Marios of Super Mario Bros.
Some of the items on display include life-size Stormtroopers (Star Wars), as well as the 5-metre tall Supreme Prime Transformer made from recycled metal, which is listed in the Malaysia Book of Records.
While you’re there, remember to take as many photos as possible! You may not be allowed to handle those toys, but you can certainly take home photographic memories!
