Cheese cakes and tarts are the rage these days. When Tokyo Secret does not come to me in Ipoh, let me go to it. Yes, I finally had the opportunity to try their popular Hanjuku cheese cake and tart when I was in SkyAvenue. This outlet opened for business on 2nd Dec, 2016.

Tokyo Secret has recently introduced a line of beverages and this Oolong Cheese Creama that I had is just one of the four currently available. The others are Black Tea, Green Tea and Japanese Matcha. Those who love Japan or enjoy Japanese food will certainly appreciate Tokyo Secret as all ingredients used are imported from Japan.

Like the discipline that Japanese are so well known for, Toyko Secret also follows extremely strict standard operating procedures, headed by a Japanese chief baker, when it comes to preparation of food and drinks. For example, the tea is always prepared fresh only upon order.

Oh, if you do not know yet, the main Tokyo Secret store is in 1Utama and there are currently a total of ten outlets in Malaysia. By the end of September, there will be 15, with one each in Melaka and Penang and two more in the Klang Valley.

As you can see, the chain is expanding really quickly as they race to meet their target of 100 outlets by the end of 2018. When the time comes, Ipoh folk will also be able to take delight in the goodness of Tokyo Secret without having to travel too far.
