Learning about the inaugural Perak Noodle Fest made me recall my most challenging lunch of eating three bowls of noodles at Zok Noodle House, on Level 4 of SkyAvenue, Resorts World Genting.
If you do not know yet, Zok Noodle House serves authentic Hong Kong / Macau cuisine and dim sum, as well as offering a wide variety of noodles.
One of the most popular noodle item is its Fresh Prawn Wanton Noodles. This chef’s recommendation is said to be prepared meticulously using only a superior selection of shrimps and pork with an 8:2 lean/fat ratio.
What makes the noodles outstanding is possibly its broth, whereby its essence is extracted from flounder fish, fresh pork bone, chicken and shrimp, double-boiled for six hours.
It is no wonder that Zok Noodle House’s Fresh Wanton Noodles are in great demand that a hundred bowls are sold in a day, regularly.
Besides the Fresh Prawn Wanton Noodles, other signature noodle dishes that were served to me were Spicy Soup Pork Noodles and Curry Noodles.
But these were not all! To complement the meal, I also had Seven Flavours Fried Tofu and Signature Golden Custard Buns. Luckily there were only two buns in the basket and not more!
Did you know that Zok Noodle House was established in 2011 by four best friends who are chefs? Their main objective was to bring Hong Kong and Macau food culture to Malaysia.
With the popularity of Zok Noodle House, which saw its business expanding from a lone restaurant to six outlets, I opine they have achieved their primary target of bringing to Malaysians the authentic Hong Kong and Macau gourmet experience.
