Opened for business just five months ago, Rantau Eco Park in what was formerly a flood-prone area offers visitors ultimate relaxation.

On this piece of 100-acre land, you can indulge yourself in all sorts of activities, from just lounging around to water sports in the man-made lake.

Besides those adventurous activities, there is also an arts centre, where guests can get hands-on in batik painting, wood carving and bamboo weaving.

Getting around easily either on foot, bicycles, All Terrain Vehicles or even in a vintage car, you would be surrounded by lush forests, as you visit the mini zoo, horse barn, deer farm, Pulau Kura-Kura or indulging in one of the many other activities such as horse-riding and canoeing.

Unlike other zoos, visitors to this mini zoo are allowed to feed some of the animals, including deer, horses and chickens. Animal pellets are for sale at the reception counter.

Also, Rantau Eco Park is soon to be known as THE venue to host massive events due to its ample space, and it had already successfully hosted Pesta Hari Buruh, Pesta Hari Ibu, Larian Rantau and most recently, the Mid-Autumn Festival.

While Rantau Eco Park receives day visitors, those who prefer to stay the night here can opt for a room or dormitory unit.

Presently, there are 16 rooms, each with two single beds or one queen bed, and 20 dormitories with four beds per unit.

As Rantau Eco Park is being developed phase by phase, visitors can expect a lot more attractions from the resort in due time.

For example, the current boat ride will be extended to a 6km cruise, which is something to look forward to. Going through the park’s future development plans, Rantau Eco Park will be a world of its own when it is fully developed.
