The one and only time I visited i-City in Shah Alam was four years ago. I remember being impressed with the lights – that was prior to the popularity of LED-lighted trees in other parts of the country.

Fast forward four years later, i-City Shah Alam has improved tremendously in terms of attractions.

On the other hand, most of these attractions are not free. I was told that parking would require RM10 per entry too.

During the recent Kembara Kraf Selangor 2015, we spent two nights at BEST WESTERN i-City Shah Alam which is located within the i-City complex.

Unfortunately, our schedule was too tight that we didn’t have time to enjoy the fun and entertainment at i-City.

I did, however, manage to squeeze in some time to walk around to take these photos.

Do bear in mind that it was past midnight and most of the paid attractions were already closed for business for the day.

Still, there were many people whiling their time away on the benches or picnic-style. It was the weekend, after all.

Would I recommend a visit to i-City Shah Alam? Of course. I think one should visit it at least once, at night. Whether you want to pay to indulge in the other attractions would be another matter altogether.
