There is a new attraction in town that is bringing a lot of fun to visitors, young and old. This family-oriented 3D trick art gallery follows the popularity of the one at Goddess of Mercy cave temple and Ipoh Parade.
I am excited that Funtasy House Trick Art has joined the many businesses that are blooming in Old Town, restoring a beautiful heritage courtyard-shophouse.
Just opened on 20th Nov, 2015, there are currently more than twenty different drawings and murals but this is a work in progress.
More pieces will be added over time, plus I have been told that some could be refreshed in due course to keep the gallery interesting.
The setting up of Funtasy House Trick Art, including getting these hand-drawn art and props ready, took about four months.
Nine local artists were engaged to come up with these drawings that carry the theme of fun + fantasy. Some of the rooms carry different themes, such as circus and “upside down”.
These photos I took are to give you a general view of what’s available inside Funtasy House Trick Art.
Obviously, these are just some of the pieces and you really have to think out of the box to get the feel of the drawings.
Don’t worry, when you are there, helpful staff will guide you and also assist to snap the photos for you.
So, this means that even if you were to visit Funtasy House Trick Art alone, you could still walk away with great shots of yourself!
