I am someone who has no patience to wait for my food to get cooked. Thus, steamboat and grill are my least favourite eating places. As such, my recent dinner at Grill & Such in Seri Kembangan was almost like a new experience for me.
With the motto “Taste the thrill”, Grill & Such, which was opened in October 2015, offers locals the chance to dine on local food in Korean style.
Owner Fadzil Shaari from Sungai Siput, a trained architect with his own firm, loves Korean food himself and thought that it would be a good idea to set up a similar eatery where diners can bond over a low-carbohydrate meal.
Featuring timber panelling against bright lights, Fadzil believes that this ambience would improve one’s appetite. It certainly did to mine, after all the trouble grilling my food and being bombed with sizzling oil. LOL
The grill set has 13 items marinated with homemade sauce, but I opted to have mine without beef and mutton, so my table had only eleven items. Nonetheless, diners may order from the à la carte or go for another round of the 13-item set.
Grill & Such can accommodate about 30 to 40 pax simultaneously and it is also suitable for those hosting gatherings and private functions in a separate lounge where karaoke and live band are available.
