During my stay at Colmar Tropicale, my friends and I took the shuttle to the Japanese Village further north. The journey took us about 15 to 20 minutes.

I had expected the Japanese Village to be somewhat like the Japanese Garden in Clingendael Park in Den Haag.

Unfortunately, it is not. There is no particular season to visit because it is open throughout the year.

After all, there are no specific Japanese plants or flowers to bloom. The village is set in a forest. Since it is located in the highlands, there are some pines, although mainly tropical trees.

The main activity at Japanese Village is to rent a kimono for RM20 and take some photos with the Japanese-like garden as backdrop.

You can also participate in the Japanese tea ceremony where four sessions are conducted daily.
