Mehram Hotel derived its name from the combination of the names of the parents of the owner, Murliadi Mehammad. The hotel, which was opened for business on Jan 10, 2013, has a total of 38 rooms on two floors.
There are three types of rooms; Presidential Suite, Family and Superior. Although basic, this hotel is very clean as it is still new. All rooms have windows.
One of the rooms is the Presidential Suite, going at RM300+ a night. It accommodates five but additional bedding can be requested with a small charge.
Family room, which has two Queen beds, is going at RM190+ a night while Superior Room, with a Queen bed and a Single bed, is selling at RM145+ a night.
Breakfast is not inclusive as there is no Food and Beverage department in the hotel but there are plans to set up a Hai Peng Kopitiam outlet on the ground floor of this building sometime in September.
Room amenities include Astro cable television and WiFi connectivity. Iron is available along the corridors. Guests will need to make requests for other items, and the staff are more than willing to accommodate.
The husband and wife team, Murliadi Mehammad and Nur’eza Zakaria (reminds me of Quayside Hotel), may be new in the hotel industry but they are fast learners.
