1. Summit Hotel Subang USJ
Strategically located in the heart of the Subang Jaya township, when I found out that Summit Hotel Subang USJ is just adjacent to Summit USJ shopping complex and DA MEN Mall, I got excited.
2. lobby
I enjoy staying in hotels located beside malls more than standalone hotels, resorts notwithstanding. Too bad we did not have enough free & easy time for me to check out the malls, except for a visit to MinNature Malaysia.
3. Leaf Café
I would say that this 4-star property is a business class hotel, being just 20 minutes drive to Subang SkyPark Terminal and 40 minutes from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).
4. Oceania Buffet Restaurant
Nonetheless, guests who are here on a leisurely trip may be happy to know that the hotel is well connected by public transport to popular tourist landmarks such as I-City theme park and Sunway Lagoon.
5. ballroom
I was assigned a triple-sharing room of one King bed + one single bed. This is just one of the five room categories available with a total of 332 rooms, including 14 suites.
6. my shared room
My room facilities are standard, such as in-house movies, shaver socket, WiFi, complimentary coffee and tea making facilities, basic things that we always take for granted, and only feel their importance when they are removed from our hotel room!
7. washroom
When I checked in, there was a function going on in the Grand Ballroom, so I was not able to view it. From what I read, it is pillar-less and features a high ceiling. It can accommodate 900 pax comfortably. I am impressed.
