On a recent trip to Kuala Selangor, as a delegate of a media group invited to Discover Selangor, Heart of Malaysia, we spent a couple of nights at De Palma Hotel.
Upon arrival, I did not know what to expect, and had thought that this property is similar to “rest houses” in small towns.
However, I was caught by surprise by the modernity of amenities. I was assigned a triple-sharing room with only one delegate, so there was more than enough space to move around.
At Kuala Selangor’s De Palma Hotel, one has the opportunity to get close to nature. There are plenty of greens to surround oneself with, and a walk along the pathway is relaxing. Kids love the pool, but I couldn’t find the time to take a dip myself.
By the way, accommodation options are chalets or villas, and I was informed that Dato’ Siti Nurhaliza was a guest at one of the villas. So, if you do stay at the same villa, that could be your claim to fame!
Despite my initial misgivings based on the exterior of De Palma Hotel, I did have a comfortable rest and found nothing to complain about, even though I could be rather fussy sometimes!
Check out my photos and let me know what you think!
