Although I have been to Taiping Lake Gardens numerous times, I have not actually taken a series of photographs of it until recently. I even had my friend, Wan, as my model. Haha!
Taiping Lake Gardens is the first public garden established in 1880. Originally a mining ground, this 160-acre site was donated by Chung Thye Phin as a recreation park.
Recognised as the first public garden in the country, Taiping Lake Gardens boasts ten well-maintained and scenic man-made lakes and ponds.
Shaded by rows of golden rain trees (pokok angsana) , many photography buffs converge at here, especially during weekends.
During my trip here recently, I spotted more than ten couples here for outdoor wedding photography shoot!
A latest attraction here at Taiping Lake Gardens is family-centric water activities.
