It’s the start of the 3-day MATTA Fair tomorrow, at selected locations nationwide. While I will personally be checking out the offers at the fair in Ipoh, a little bird informed me about some of the best bargains that are available at MATTA Fair KL, to discover AND experience the fascinating state of Selangor, at a friendly budget.

MinNature Malaysia

MinNature Malaysia

One of the highlights at Tourism Selangor’s Pavillion is MinNature Malaysia. This is Asia’s largest and the world’s third largest permanent indoor 3D printed miniature and train exhibition.

At MATTA Fair KL this September, tickets to MinNature are going for RM50 (family package for 2 adults + 2 children), inclusive of participation in two exclusive Tree Workshops.

Farm In The City

Farm In The City

Next to be featured is Farm In The City. I have not personally been to this non-traditional zoo in Seri Kembangan yet, but I have visited their sister setup, KL Tower Mini Zoo.

I had a wonderful experience at the mini zoo in KL Tower and it has always been my dream to visit Farm In The City one day. Entrance tickets to this petting zoo are going at 50% discount during MATTA Fair KL.

KidZania Kuala Lumpur

KidZania Kuala Lumpur

KidZania Kuala Lumpur is actually located at Curve NX, in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. Therefore, it is appropriate that they are also included in today’s post to Discover Selangor.

It’s been five years since my last visit and it is high time I drop by again as I have heard from friends that KidZania is much improved. Bigger and better, so to speak. This MATTA Fair KL, save up to 40% on entrance tickets to KidZania KL!

Sky Mirror Sasaran Beach

Sky Mirror Sasaran Beach

Last but not least, and one of my personal favourites, is Sky Mirror. This is Malaysia’s very own version of Salar de Uyuni, Bolivia’s salt flat. At Sasaran, though, the difference is that there is no evidence of salt lumps, just a vast expanse of sand and sea, almost like a beach, hence the place is known as Sasaran Beach.

It is not a real beach in the technical sense. During high tide, the sand disappears and it is just like the sea once again. This phenomenon happens about twenty days in a month, at different times of the day. Remember to book your Sky Mirror tour from the only licensed operator via their official Facebook Page: 天空之镜 Sky Mirror Tour & Travel Sdn Bhd.

At MATTA Fair KL, what Sky Mirror promotion can you expect? Your guess is as good as mine!

MATTA Fair KL 2017 September edition is expected to draw 110,000 visitors over three days, from 8th to 10th September, 2017.
