One of seven waterfalls that is open to the public in the District of Selama, Lata Tebing Tinggi is merely 300 metres from the main road. Therefore, the waterfall is easily accessible without the need for a 4-wheel drive vehicle.
1. to Lata Tebing Tinggi
The seven waterfalls offer different levels of impediment and challenges. Lata Tebing Tinggi is one of the mildest, suitable for even young children. Further up from Lata Tebing Tinggi is Lata Mengkaung.
2. Lata Tebing Tinggi
I visited Lata Tebing Tinggi on a weekday and only had to share the enchanting nature with some locals. On weekends, there would be more vacationers. Entrance to the waterfall is free-of-charge.
3. Lata Tebing Tinggi
The authorities are currently upgrading the facilities here. 20 units of chalets are being built, estimated to be ready by mid-2018. Then, visitors can choose to spend a night or two here and enjoy serenity at its best.
