This Mini Malaysia & ASEAN Cultural Park is an old tourist attraction in Melaka. I was told that it recently had a facelift under a new management. Anyone who had visited it previously should revisit to update him or herself on the changes made at this park.
Regardless of whether one is a Malaysian or foreigner, the Mini Malaysia & ASEAN Cultural Park offers a deep insight of the Malay village life of all the different states in Malaysia.
Besides erecting miniature Malay kampung houses from all states in the country, these houses have also been furnished the way of a typical home.
Visitors to this cultural park are entertained by cultural dances, twice a day at 11am and 2pm. Each show, where dances from all states are showcased, last some thirty minutes. They always end with a joget lambak, with the participation of guests.
Other attractions of the park would be the traditional games, which are on the verge of extinction, in part no thanks to the rapid advancement of technology.
Visitors to the park get to be hands-on, as they are welcome to make their own traditional food.
The park is also open to photography sessions like outdoor wedding shoot, for a fee.
