Although Taiwan had never been on my wish list of countries to visit one day, when the opportunity arose, I accepted it. Thus, it was in mid-January of this year that I spent 6D/5N travelling from Taoyuan to Tainan and back north to Taipei.
One thing about Taiwan that struck me was that it is a dog-friendly country. Taiwanese are free to take their dogs along for the day’s activities, including into eateries.
I have visited a handful of countries, and the dog-friendliness level in Taiwan is right up there with the Netherlands.
In Beipu, I even came across a doggie poo bag dispenser for free use by dog owners, to pick up after their dog. How’s that for community-wide civic consciousness in pet caring?
So, similar to my previous international trips, here’s sharing photos of dogs and even cats that I crossed paths with during my tour of Taiwan, to wrap up my story sharing.
