Every time I share travel photos on social media, there would always be a few messages from friends who tell me that they are envious that I get to travel. The most recent incident was during my trip to Vietnam.
Truth be told, many do not realise the amount of effort we expend prior to the trip to be able to get away for a few days. That’s not all, we need a strong backup system to see that things continue to run efficiently when we are on the road. And in my case, I always ensure that I am reachable by WhatsApp no matter where I go.

To stay connected to my colleagues and clients is as important as my passport because I continue to work wherever I go. As a digital nomad, just because I do not sit at my desk doesn’t mean that I am on leave.
Therefore, one of the first things I do when planning an international trip is to book my travel WiFi router. My default company is Travel Recommends, for your information, and I have travelled with them this year to Taiwan, Nepal, Indonesia and just last month, to Vietnam, without issues.

I like to have backup plans, which explains why I cannot pack light.
