It is too bad that on my second trip to Melaka, again I did not get a chance to enter Muzium Samudera, or in English, Maritime Museum. Opened on June 13th, 1994, I have always wanted to check out the replica ship, Flor de la Mar!

In any case, this time, at least I managed to get a good shot of the ship displayed outside since we put up at a hotel within walking distance just down the road, Quayside Hotel.
For your reference, the following are Muzium Samudera opening hours and ticket prices:
Admission fee:
Adult: RM6
Child (7 – 12 years old): RM2
6 years old and below: free
*50% discount for MyKad holders
Tickets are valid for entrance to:
1. Replica of Flor de la Mar
2. Maritime Museum Phase 2, and
3. Royal Malaysian Navy Museum
Opening hours:
Mon – Thurs: 9am – 5pm
Fri – Sun: 9am – 8.30pm
