Just five minutes drive from our accommodation at Swiss-Garden Beach Resort Kuantan heading towards Kemaman from Kuantan, is Pak Su Seafood Restaurant. This halal restaurant is very popular among the locals due to its reasonably-priced seafood menu.
Sitting in the open air area facing the South China Sea, this was the setting for our dinner one delightful evening. It was luxurious, enjoying such a delicious meal with the sea breeze, crashing waves and friends for company.
The signature dish at this restaurant is actually Pak Su Stuffed Crab. We had to forego it as I am allergic to crabs. Other popular dishes are seafood such as cheese lobster, butter tiger prawns, steam fish and claypot flower crab with white pepper.
Since we would be on the road the following morning, we decided to go with more common dishes, as you can see. I’d consider our meal a preview and expect to return for some of the above chef’s recommendations (except for the crabs) the next time I swing by. Those who love seafood should keep Pak Su in view.
