Trishaw ride is a must when in Malacca. For the older generation, this isn’t something new but the trishaws in Malacca are heavily decorated with blaring speakers. It’s an experience by itself.
Trishaw rides can be rather pricey because it’s a tourism product, but think about it…it is easier and more enjoyable to check out Malacca’s heritage spots on a trishaw, especially at night when the weather is friendlier.
Trishaws can be hailed anywhere along the streets of Malacca but their base is in front of Porte De Santiago, or more popularly known as A’Famosa.
Rates for Malacca trishaw rides are:
RM25 for a small radius
RM35 for a bigger radius
RM50 for one hour
